Nicky wants to take you to the museum! Don't miss out on a great day with your classmates!

Can you tell me why the weather is like this? Rainy, cold, miserable. Hello?! It is May!! It should be nice and sunny, not like this! I hope it will be better over the weekend... especially because of our special event on Saturday!
Nicky is taking our students out for a free trip! The plan is to go to Cardiff National Museum, as there is a very special exhibition entitles 'Chalkie Davies: the NME years!' A Welsh-born photographer, Chalkie Davies is famous for photographing many influential and important rock stars and artists from of yesteryear including Kiss, Elton John, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones and many others. After the visit to the museum you will be able to grab some lunch and if the weather improves you might be having a picnic outside the museum or in one of the many Fish and Chips shops in Cardiff.
Staying with the topic of free events, we suggest that you visit the Wales Millenium Centre on Friday, where you can experience world folk music in a variety of languages at the concert 'Katuš.'
Well whatever you choose from our "menu", have fun and enjoy your free time.

Something must be done
Wales Millennium Centre, Bute Place, Cardiff Bay, CF10 5AL
Pountney has explored these areas, and made very deliberate choices about the inclusion of pictures in this project. Creating what is essentially a biased and unfair reflection of South Wales, the artist has sought to show how easy it is to depict an area at the mercy of history, neglect, tradition and misplaced nostalgia.
Time: all day
Cost: Free
