This working week has been super short and the weather super beautiful! I am planning to stay out most of the weekend, though I have promised myself I'll go to the cinema with one of my friends. We are planning to watch Batman vs. Superman, that is apparently really bad, but lets see. Anything for friends, isn't it?
If you are not sure what to do in your free time and need some inspiration, well I have got the answer for you - our new What's On!
Gwdihŵ Café Bar seems to know how to have a good time and you can start the weekend in style with a night full of funk. Just in case the weather gets worse come along to the Chapter Arts Centre for a drink or even to watch an interactive theatre show Flossy and Boo's Curiosity Shop. If you get hungry after the theatre we would recommend you to try one of the restaurants on Cowbridge Road, around Peartree Languages, for example the great Italian bistro, Calabrisella, or Indian street food in Chai Street (where I am actually going for lunch on Sunday).

April	Flossy and Boo’s Curiosity Shop Chapter Flossy and Boo have decided to run away from the circus to set up their own travelling Curiosity Shop, traversing the globe and collecting stories, songs and trinkets for their little cart. Sunday 3. April	Music: Sunset Sons Cardiff University, Corbett Road, Cardiff, Cardiff CF10 3EB Sunset Sons are a four piece UK & Australian Rock/Indie band, based out of the town of Hossegor, in the Landes region of the South West of France, known as ‘The European Surfing Capital’.  Cost: £12 Time:  7:30pm

Tuesday 5. April	Funeral for a Friend Cardiff Student Union, Cardiff Funeral for a Friend is a post-hardcore band from Wales. They formed in 2001 as a sextet and recorded their debut EP Between Order and Model with their original 6-piece line up. Cost: free Time:  7pm
Wednesday 6. April	Tell me on a sunday New Theatre, Cardiff Jodie Prenger stars in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black's one-act song cycle about a young English girl in America, and her romantic trials and tribulations. Cost: £10-17 Time:  7:30pm – 10pm
Thursday 7. April	Lecture: 1896: Cardiff’s Great Exhibition Cardiff Castle, Cardiff 120 years ago this year, The Cardiff Fine Art, Industrial and Maritime Exhibition was held in Cathays Park.  Devised on an unprecedented scale, the exhibition is said to have attracted royalty, as well as a million visitors. This lecture looks back at a forgotten piece of the city's history. Cost: £7.50 Time: 6pm
