Street Food Circus is an independent street food arena that brings together chefs, mixologists, cooks and a 1000 diners under a circus big top for a 6 week food fiesta. The event will run every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 18th August 25th September at Sophia Gardens.Not content with delivering the best street food event in the UK last year, as voted by the British Street Food Awards 2015, the team have stepped up the food offer to include a popup restaurant curated by FEAST CLWB and MILGI.

Out Of The Woods Festival

A celebration of woodland crafts and traditions, this is a day of entertainment and fun for all the family, organised by Cardiff Council’s community park rangers. Attractions will include a free dog show from 12.30pm, woodland arts and craft demonstrations, locally crafted products, nature trails and many other fun activities. Hot and cold refreshments will be available. Though entry is free, charges may apply for individual activities.

21ST GOLDEN OLDIES WORLD RUGBY FESTIVAL

A week long celebration of Rugby built on Fun, Friendship and Fraternity!This year the World Festival is coming to Wales for the first time as hosts for the 21st Celebration. The Festival will see over 120 teams and 2000 international participants from 25 countries join thousands of local participants & supporters in Cardiff for this unique celebration of rugby, Wales and camaraderie.The players range from competitive over-35s teams right through to an over-70s grade.The eldest registered player for the 2016 Festival is 84 years old.

However, a few other people have found out about this remarkable dragon and and are intent on capturing it.This remake of the much-loved 1977 film boasts a stellar cast and state-of-the-art specials effects to help bring this enchanting and magical story to a new generation.

Once again, NYDW is delighted to bring its own brand of high quality, creative contemporary dance back to Sherman Cymru this summer. NYDW Artistic Director, Kerry Nicholls will lead this year’s Company in an exacting programme that combines artistry, clear technique and high energy. The programme will include aM, a work that wowed audiences at Apex Rising – an international youth dance programme at Sadlers Wells, London – with specially-commissioned score (David Walters) and exquisite lighting design (Jo Fletcher).
