CLASSIC CAR RALLY
Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff, CF10
A huge selection of cars from the Glamorgan Classic Car Club will be on display around the perimeter of Roald Dahl Plass, overlooking Cardiff Bay Beach for visitors to view up-close and meet the owners.
Classic cars on display include four Classic Cars from the film ‘Mr Nice’, 1970s ‘Chips’ style motorbikes the big Honda Goldwings and Renault Rally Cars to name but a few.

Dinosaur Babies take over National Museum Cardiff this Summer
Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NP
This interactive family friendly blockbuster exhibition at the National Museum Cardiff, which forms part of the Welsh Government’s Year of Legends, will welcome families to enjoy full size dinosaur skeletons and replicas, touchable models of dinosaur embryos and eggs, and even a huge 2.5 metre model dinosaur nest! This is a chance to get up close to the dinosaurs, learn about dinosaur family life, including how they cared for their young babies. Find out more about palaeontologists and their dinosaur discoveries, be a palaeontologist for the day and have a go in our ‘Big Dig Pit’. Or marvel at the two large dinosaur casts of a Tarbosaurus and Probactrosaurus skeleton.

Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff Bay will once again be transformed into an urban seaside setting with buckets full of fun on offer to entertain the kids throughout the school holidays. The Capital FM Cardiff Bay Beach features a giant child-friendly sandy beach, water play area, and a variety of popular funfair rides and games for all the family. With free live entertainment, great food and drink, and traditional deck chairs to relax in, this should definitely be on your summer bucket (and spade) list!
