Outdoor Cinema: Singin’ in the rain

A romantic story set in 1927 with two main characters - Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont. Some things to consider for our outdoor cinema screenings: This is a free seating event, you are expected to provide your own blankets/cushions and dress according to the weather. There will be a café open should you wish to purchase drinks, alcohol and confectionary or you can bring your own. In the event of bad weather, the film may be screened inside our medieval Tythe Barn. Should the film be screened outdoors and the weather changes to rain, the film will not be stopped and will continue to be screened outdoors (excluding extreme circumstances).

The Mystery of the Star-Eaters

Casefile: The Mystery of the Star-Eaters is a one-day event where you play as a ‘consulting detective’ for the local constabulary. 12 secret locations around the city centre, some usually off-limits to the public, will be taking part in the game.
Players will be able to collect their casefiles at any time in the morning from 10am-12pm and begin their adventure by following the threads of information – wherever they may take them. The game will take approximately 2-3 hours to play with players free to complete it at any time until 4pm.

The main character Seymour has just dating the lovely Audrey and has just managed to create a new plant in his flower shop, but things are not as great as they seem. He is nervous about introducing his girlfriend to his alcoholic mother and the plant is developing carnivorous tendencies… This fun horror is an original story by ‘King of the Bs’ Roger Corman which was remade as a successful musical, featuring one of the earliest performances from Jack Nicholson.
