It’s promising to be a seven day celebration of fashion, design, and style, celebrating Cardiff as a gateway to the fashion product of designed, manufactured and sold across Wales. We’re promoting and celebrating: Designers, Students, Retail,
Hair & Beauty, Health & Wellbeing. As well as a fashion showcase offering the best of emerging and student design, a number of fringe events will take place across the city including charity fundraising fashion initiatives, champagne receptions, style workshops and PR stunts. On this particular day there is a traditional model walk around Cardiff City Centre.

Another movie which doesn’t leave you careless and makes you think more of what’s going on in the world around you. The director Nyoni has delivered a tale of dogma, prejudice and corruption in Zambia. When nine-year-old Shula is accused of witchcraft, she is sent away to a "witch camp" to live in abysmal conditions alongside other women who've been exiled in order to be forgotten. As is the custom, Shula is fitted with a spindle on her back, from which a long white ribbon runs: a "security measure" to ensure she won't fly off. On her first night in the camp she's told she may cut the ribbon, but doing so will turn her into a goat. Faced with this non-choice, Shula remains tethered — to the camp, its exploitative manager, and a cruelly unjust world.
