The Sky Cinema Movie Bus is visiting Cardiff this Saturday. The 80 seat mobile Movie Bus will be situated on the moat outside the front of Cardiff Castle and will be open to the public between 10:00 and 17:00. It works on a first come first serve basis.

The Virtual Reality (VR) game is a brand new and exciting experience for Christmas shoppers, families and technology buffs to enjoy. The VR technology, is a first for the city centre and will transport the player to one of three festive scenes, without even leaving Cardiff. HOW DOES IT WORK? It’s magic! Well kind of, visitors put on VR goggles to immerse themselves in another reality; helping Santa whip his reindeer into shape ready for Christmas Eve in Santa’s Reindeer Training, starting a snowball fight in Naughty Sid’s Snowball Chaos or catching the Festive Train to Snowdon to enjoy breath-taking views from the peak.

…..a magical new piece of music theatre, packed full of colourful characters and haunting melodies, which has been adapted from the second Christmas story by Charles Dickens. The Chimes’s biting satire was intended to effect real political change. It addresses issues of homelessness, vagrancy and self-respect and if he were alive today, Dickens would be clamouring for a capitalist change of heart to address our present ‘Condition of England’ and of the wider world.

The River of Light Lantern Parade is a fabulous festive parade through Caerphilly town centre, followed by a spectacular fireworks display above the skies of Caerphilly Castle. The parade starts at Caerphilly Train & Bus Station Park & Ride, then flows through the town to the rear of Caerphilly Castle (Crescent Road). Participants will be accompanied by dancers and bands creating a sea of colour through the town. Bring your lantern along and take part in this annual event. FREE lantern workshops will take place in Caerphilly Leisure Centre on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th December (10am - 5pm).
