Party or classical music concert? Here is our new What's On!

It is Friday, finally. I don't know about you, but this week was for me incredibly long and I can't wait for the weekend. I hope that the weather will be nicer than it was at the beginning of the week and we can have a good weekend. I am planing a trip. Somewhere. I don't know where and I will probably decide on Saturday morning. Probably. Well let's see. If you don't have any plans for the weekend or you have only free evenings please let me take this opportunity to inspire you with our new 'What's On!'
The weekend is time for parties or some classical music concerts, as you can see. If you have never been to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama you shouldn't wait any longer, especially if you are a big fan of classical music. If you are more a party animal, we have a couple of options for you from Clwb Ifor Bach, and if it closes too soon for you just go to the Full Moon opposite.
And yes, I can't forget about another film for next week. I think you understand that I have been inspired by the films that I have watched in the cinema over the week, so this week will be no exception. This week the film is a musical called 'Into the Woods', which features some of the biggest Hollywood stars, including Meryl Streep (as the Witch), Johnny Depp (as Mr. Wolf) and Chris Pine as "Prince Charming" (yes, that one from the new Star Trek, ehm). You can meet all the very well-known characters of your childhood - Rapunzel, Red Riding Hood, her grandmother and Mr. Wolf, Cinderella and her horrible step-sisters and step-mother, Jack with his magical beans and so on. What was really surprising for me was what good singers some of the actors are, and I don't need to mention Meryl Streep, who can obviously be as good a witch as a 'devil'. However, the film/musical is a bit long (almost two hours) and it is likely that you will enjoy the first happy, funny part more than the second, because when the giant lady enters the woods the fun is over. If you are curious, just go and watch. As every week, we recommend that you go on Tuesday, when the tickets are cheaper.
One small piece of advice to finish with - be careful what you wish for. ;-)
