Set in the past it celebrates all that was great from
the 1940s 50s & 60s
Drift back in time to those halcyon days and soak up the
unique atmosphere in the period costume of your chosen era It is an opportunity
to dress up to the nines in timeless style, amongst a crowd of people doing the
same.

Rudry Music Festival

Rudry Festival is a brand new community music festival taking
place over one day on Saturday 16th July 2016. The music will focus on acoustic
roots, folk and americana and our headliners
are a Country /Americana band from Colorado (USA) called The Coral Creek String
Band. Other acts include Lewis and Leigh, The Maddie Jones Band, Sion, Luke Jackson, Climbing Trees but also many more. As
the festival is in its first year ticket numbers are very limited so we can
guarantee a unique and intimate musical experience. The main stage will be
inside the beautiful Rudry Parish Hall whilst
the acoutsic tent, featuring
artists including Sion Russell Jones,
Darren Eedens and Bryde, an arts pavillion and camping
facility will be sited in the ajoining field. Local producers and providers will make sure you
don't go hungry or thirsty with excellent food, beers and ciders available
throughout the day.

Quentin Blake: Inside Stories celebrates the work of one of the world’s most important and best-loved illustrators. Best known for his illustrations in the books of Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake’s work is recognised worldwide. This exhibition gives an unique insight into the origins of some of Blake’s most iconic and popular creations, ranging from his illustrations in Roald Dahl's The Twits and Danny the Champion of the World, to his own Clown,The Boy in The Dress by David Walliams and illustrations to books by John Yeoman, Russell Hoban and Michael Rosen.
